COPS bust two people over the weekend at the OR Tambo International Airport in possession of drugs and rhino horn.
The cocaine with an estimated street value of R5 million was discovered by cops in a passenger’s bag, who was travelling to Brazil.
According to the cops, the man had no tags on his luggage which attracted the eyes of the airport officials.
EWN reports that in a separate incident, a man travelling to Hong Kong was bust in possession of five rhino horns.
Security officials conducted a physical search of the bag and found five rhino horns wrapped in foil.
The horns were later handed over to the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigations for further investigation.
