Tomorrow, 16 June 2017, the DA Provincial Leader, Jacques Smalle MPL, joined by local Councillors and activists, will deliver the DA in Limpopo’s Youth Day message,”Education is the key to freedom”.
In addition to the main event in Mankweng, the DA will hold several Youth Day events across the Province.
Youth Day commemorations are taking place in an environment where South African youth are struggling to get access to quality education and employment opportunities. The ANC has shown that it does not care about the future of our young people.
With Limpopo’s unemployment rate standing at 38,2%, the youth are the worst affected demographic in this unfolding crisis.
In Mankweng, the DA will emphasize the need for accelerated job creation, growing the economy and promotion of youth entrepreneurship as pre-requisites for addressing the challenges currently facing the youth.
The DA has shown itself, in areas where we govern, as the only party capable of bringing much-needed change to better the lives of all South Africans.
The main event details are as follows:
Date: Friday, 16 June 2017
Venue: Mogoring Sports Ground, Mentz (Mankweng)
There will be an opportunity for photographs and interviews.
