Management of Gospel singer, Lundi Tyamara, has confirmed that he has died on Friday morning at the age of 38 after fighting for his life in hospital.
He has been in hospital for about four weeks to date, battling stomach TB and liver complications.
Tyamara started his solo career in 1998 and he’s known for many gospel hits such as Mphefumlo Wami, Mvulele Angene, and Khuluma Nabo.
His ground-breaking hits saw him winning at the SAMA Awards, KORA Awards and the Crown Gospel Music Awards.
His family says he died at an Edenvale Hospital on Friday morning.
