For quite some time I have been giving Limpopo Education MEC Dickson Masemola some benefit of the doubt and desisted from calling for his removal. Former ANC Secretary General and business tycoon Cyril Ramaphosa plunged the final nail into Julius Malema’s political coffin on a hot Saturday afternoon when he dismissed Malema’s desperate appeal to remain a factor in South Africa’s ruling political party. Soon after Ramaphosa’s historic judgement, Malema’s hometown of Seshego went into a frenzy of celebrations at the downfall of their most famous(or is it notorious?) son.
